## Low Vaccination Rates in the Community

Ministry of Health (2023): only **48%** of Ethiopian-Israeli girls received the full vaccination series (vs 71% average). Causes: information not reaching community in understood language, cultural barriers, misconception that it "encourages immorality."

Fact: HPV is transmitted by any skin-to-skin genital contact — not only full intercourse.
