An association for the education and social integration of Ethiopian-Israelis, founded in 1997 β youth centres, young leadership, STEP UP, parent workshops and more.
HUJI Dean of Students β Ethiopian-Israeli Students Office
An institutional service from the Hebrew University Dean of Students for Ethiopian-Israeli students β not a nationwide scholarship, but local institutional support.
ISEF Fellowship
Tuition and living-cost scholarships for Ethiopian-Israeli students in master's and PhD programs at Israeli universities.
Marom Scholarship β Council for Higher Education
A national CHE/VATAT scholarship for Ethiopian-Israeli students, operated by Perach at the Davidson Institute. As of 15 Sept 2026 the registration system is closed and shows an opening date of 28 Feb 2027.
PERACH Tutoring Stipend
Stipend for students who tutor community children during the academic year. Side employment that fits study schedules.
Scholarship for Ethiopian-Israeli Law Students in memory of Adv. Zvi Meitar
A βͺ5,000 scholarship for Ethiopian-Israeli law students, administered by Tebeka and funded by the Meitar family foundation and the Meitar law firm. The last published cycle closed on 30.4.2025.
Tech-Career β Technology Training
A technology training centre for young Ethiopian-Israelis, running for over 20 years. Over 88% of graduates go into hi-tech. Classes are afternoons, twice a week β you can keep working.
The Yoel Program β Ethiopian-Israelis to Quality Academia
A support programme for students of the Bar-Ilan pre-academic mechina, established and operated by the Chiburim association β a dormitory scholarship, daily reinforcement, and a mentor during the degree.
Tuition Scholarship β Students Authority (Ministry of Aliyah)
The extended eligibility track for olim from Ethiopia: tuition up to 100% of the university tariff plus a βͺ600/month subsistence stipend. 2026-27 registration is open β 1 Oct for continuing students, 10 Nov for new ones.
VATAT Doctoral & Post-doctoral Scholarships (diversity populations)
The Ethiopian-specific track was abolished. Since 20.3.2024 Ethiopian-Israelis are one of several eligible diversity groups in a single merged programme β and applications go through your institution only, never directly.
