📜ISEF Fellowship

Who is it for?

• No origin criterion. ISEF selects first-generation higher-education students from the geographic and social periphery. Community members qualify like anyone meeting the conditions — but this is not an Ethiopian-specific scholarship, as this page previously stated in error
• Students at a recognized Israeli academic institution
• Socio-economic circumstances are weighed

What's included?

• Tuition assistance, in partnership with the academic institution. The amount is set with the institution — ISEF publishes no single figure, and two official sources give different numbers, so none is stated here
• Academic and career mentorship via the ISEF alumni network
• Access to senior community-network mentors

How to apply

1. Online application on ISEF website
2. Submit academic transcript, statement of purpose, 2 letters of recommendation
3. Personal interview
4. Decision within 4–8 weeks

Important dates

• Registration opens 1 June and closes at the end of July. The published deadline is 31 July.
