Ethiopian National Project (ENP)

What is ENP?
The Ethiopian National Project (ENP) is a broad partnership between the Israeli government, the Jewish Agency, Jewish federations abroad, and community representatives. Its goal is to close gaps and strengthen the social and economic success of community members.
Main programs
- SPACE — an after-school academic enrichment program to boost school achievement
- Youth Outreach Centers — leisure-time frameworks for youth, preventing dropout and risk behavior
- Parent involvement — strengthening the link between parents and the education system
- Young leadership — developing a generation of community leaders
Who is it for?
Mainly youth and families in cities with a sizeable community. Participation is usually via the school, the local authority or the local youth center.
