What the fund offers

  • Amount: the fund publishes no loan ceiling. This site previously stated ₪200,000 on one page and ₪150,000 on another — two contradictory figures with no source. Both were removed
  • Interest, repayment period and collateral: set with the fund. Ask for them in writing before relying on any term
  • Business mentorship: the fund offers accompaniment; its scope is set with them

Who is eligible?

  • Existing business owners (1+ year operating) — OR a solid business plan for a new venture
  • Community members (Ethiopian-Israeli / Falash Mura)
  • Israeli-registered business — VAT + corporate ID
  • No criminal record for tax offenses

Process

  1. Initial application: via ujia.org → form + business plan
  2. Interview: with fund coordinator + assigned business mentor
  3. Credit committee: reviews case (~3 weeks)
  4. Signing: loan contract + guarantors
  5. Disbursement: funds in account within a week

Note: an earlier version of this page recommended "Kurat (another community org)" here. "Kurat" is a corruption of Koret — the K inside KIEDF itself, not a separate organisation. The recommendation was removed.
