Who is eligible?

  • Israeli citizens aged 67+ (men 67, women 65 — gradually rising)
  • 10+ years of residency in Israel before applying
  • Family income below a calibrated ceiling (combined pension + other sources)

What's included?

  • Basic old-age pension: scaled by years of residency
  • Income supplement: for those without pension or with low pension
  • Seniority bonus: per year of residency beyond 10
  • Spouse supplement: for a partner without their own pension

How to apply

  1. Login to btl.gov.il — personal account
  2. File "Old-age pension claim" + attach ID + income proofs
  3. If needed — visit the nearest branch
  4. Community members who immigrated late in life — residency periods may include time in Ethiopia in some cases (per bilateral agreements)
