Hesegim Scholarships — Academic Excellence in Bat Yam

About Bat Yam
Bat Yam, adjacent to the sea and Tel Aviv, hosts an Israeli-Ethiopian community present in several neighbourhoods across the city. Its relatively accessible real-estate prices and attractive location make it a preferred housing option for those seeking a balance between centrality and accessibility.
What's included
- Monthly stipend: ₪1,500-3,000 (varies by year and circumstances)
- Personal mentor: a coordinator assigned to each student
- Excellence workshops: academic writing, English, leadership, entrepreneurship
- Career placement: partnerships with Olim Beyahad post-graduation

Entry requirements
- Active undergraduate student (before year 4)
- Adequate GPA (typically 80+, higher in competitive fields)
