Community health workshop with on-site testing: blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI. Diabetes and hypertension rates in the community exceed the national average — early detection saves lives.
What's included
- On-site BP, glucose, cholesterol checks
- Culturally-appropriate nutrition counseling (doesn't exclude injera)
- HMO referral if follow-up needed
- Amharic/Hebrew info brochures
How to apply
Via your community center / synagogue committee / Tipat-Halav. Tene Briut runs ~50 workshops/year.
