Community health workshop with on-site testing: blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI. Diabetes and hypertension rates in the community exceed the national average — early detection saves lives.

What's included

  • On-site BP, glucose, cholesterol checks
  • Culturally-appropriate nutrition counseling (doesn't exclude injera)
  • HMO referral if follow-up needed
  • Amharic/Hebrew info brochures

How to apply

Via your community center / synagogue committee / Tipat-Halav. Tene Briut runs ~50 workshops/year.

  • Any adult of Ethiopian origin (incl. 2nd & 3rd gen)
  • Fully free
