What is it?
Olim Beyahad ("Rising Together") is an NGO focused on the career advancement of Ethiopian-Israeli university graduates. Founded in 2007.
Programs
- Mentorship — first-degree graduate paired with a senior mentor in industry (tech, finance, education, medicine, etc.)
- Career direction — workshops on job searching, CV writing, and interviews
- Connections — networking events with leading firms (Microsoft, Google, IBM, EY, BDO, and more)
- Hi-tech track — graduate placement in the tech sector with apprenticeship period
Structure
- ~1,500 graduates have completed the program since 2007
- 200+ active mentors from 150+ companies
- Funding: corporate, government, JDC
