About Rehovot
Rehovot has a long-established Israeli-Ethiopian community, with a significant concentration in the Kiryat Moshe neighbourhood. Most of the neighbourhood's residents are from the community, and it is currently going through urban-renewal processes — driving demand for additional housing options in the city and surrounding area.
Who is eligible?
- Student of Ethiopian origin with a recognized disability (National Insurance / medical committee)
- Studying for undergraduate or master's degree
- No GPA minimum (rights-based access)
What's included?
- Annual grant ₪5,000–₪15,000
- Coverage for academic assistive tools (software, audio, equipment)
- Personal accessibility advisor
- Representation with the academic institution
