Role Description

The Tel Aviv–Jaffa welfare office is recruiting a social worker for its absorption unit. Responsibilities include supporting newly arrived immigrant families, needs assessment, service referrals, committee representation, and social integration.

Requirements

Recognized BSW degree and government social-work licence
Experience with immigrant populations — a significant advantage
Languages: high-level Hebrew; Amharic highly advantageous
Proficiency with digital case management systems in a multicultural setting

Employment Terms

Full-time (100%), Sunday–Thursday, pay grade 8–12
ILS 9,000–13,500 gross depending on seniority and degree
Partial MSW funding and monthly professional supervision
Order 50 — applicants of Ethiopian origin are especially encouraged
