Role Description

The Ministry of Aliyah and Immigrant Absorption is seeking an absorption officer at the Jerusalem branch, specialising in the Ethiopian-origin community. Duties include guiding new immigrants through adjustment processes, advising on entitlements, enrolling them in government services, and running outreach activities in city neighbourhoods.

Requirements

BA in social sciences, social work, or public administration
At least two years' experience working with Ethiopian immigrants — mandatory advantage
Amharic speakers especially invited
Languages: high-level Hebrew; Amharic — a highly significant advantage
