Tech-Career: both courses listed on the site have already started — how to get into the next cohort

What the page says, word for word

Tech-Career is a non-profit that trains young Ethiopian-Israelis for hi-tech roles, and per its own site it has been operating for 22 years. We opened its training page and read it in full. These are the two courses on it:

CourseLocationFormatLengthStart date
Cyber-Network Analyst (networking + security)LodHybrid / residential6 months14 September 2026
Cloud-Network Engineer (Cisco + cloud)LodHybrid / residential6 months30 August 2026

Both courses state that students can combine work with study.

And why this is an article

Because both of those dates have already passed. The page invites the reader to "get a sense of the kinds of training that will open in the coming year" — that is, it shows the types of training, not necessarily a cohort opening tomorrow. No future start date appears on the page, and no registration deadline appears either.

We saw a reference elsewhere to a cohort said to open on 20 October 2026. We checked — that date does not appear on Tech-Career's own site. So we will not publish it here as fact. This is precisely where a reader misses a real deadline because they relied on a date somebody copied.

What to actually do this week

If you want to get into the next cohort:

  1. Contact the organisation directly through the contact page on its site, and ask when the next cohort opens and when registration for it closes. That is the question worth asking, in those words.
  2. Sign up for the newsletter at the foot of the organisation's site — that is the channel through which they themselves announce activities.
  3. Prepare for selection in the meantime. Selection for training programmes of this kind tests fit and not only technical background, and the page itself stresses that the model rests on full commitment to study.

Our caveat

This is a snapshot of one page on one day — 16 September 2026. Training pages get updated, and a new cohort with a date may appear there tomorrow. Do not conclude from this that there is no cohort; conclude that you should ask rather than assume.
