What is Tech-Career
Tech-Career is an NGO founded by Ethiopian-Israeli community members, specialising in accelerated tech reskilling. Programmes are largely free for eligible applicants through Employment Service funding.

Admission
- Full high-school diploma or military/national service
- Intermediate English
- No prior coding experience required
How to enrol
- Visit your nearest Employment Service — request a Tech-Career referral
- 30-min interview + logic test
- Approval within two weeks
- Cohorts start January, April, September
Lod campus — new in 2026
Opens late 2026, 60 additional places/year. Current campuses: Tel Aviv (40), Beersheba (35), Haifa (30), Netanya (25).
Outcomes (2024–25)
- Employment within 6 months: 74%
- Average salary: ₪72,000–₪92,000/year gross
- Partners: Microsoft Israel, Amdocs, Check Point, cybersecurity spin-offs
Veterans
Released soldiers can combine the vocational training grant with programme funding and receive monthly living stipends.
