Ruti Asraseiy honored at the Cameri Theater's annual actors' tribute
The Cameri Theater in Tel Aviv held its "tribute evening for the theater's leading actors of 2025" — an annual event honoring the theater's stage talent. Veteran Ethiopian-Israeli actress Ruti Asraseiy was among the 16 actors honored that evening.

At the event, a lifetime achievement award was also given to actor Haim Sela, alongside the tribute to the theater's 16 leading actors of 2025 — Ruti Asraseiy among them.
Asraseiy's inclusion among the honored actors reflects ongoing institutional recognition of her contribution to Israeli theater, as part of a veteran generation of Ethiopian-Israeli actors active on Israel's major stages.
