Hadera — a veteran community
Hadera is one of Israel's oldest Ethiopian-Israeli absorption cities. Families arrived from the early 1980s, including Operation Moses (1984) arrivals. ~5,000 community members today (CBS 2024). Main neighbourhood: Givat Olga (~2,000 residents).
