"On the Way to the Summit" (CHE Programme)

The Council for Higher Education (CHE) runs a dedicated programme advancing Ethiopian-Israeli academic staff and doctoral students.

Includes: grants up to 80,000 ILS/year for PhD students, post-doctoral support abroad, personal mentoring, international conference participation.

Eligibility: PhD or post-doctoral researcher; one parent born in Ethiopia; enrolled at a recognised Israeli institution.

University-Specific Grants

Hebrew University: Social periphery diversity grant 15,000 ILS/yr. Tel Aviv: "Reshit" excellence grant 12,000 ILS/yr. Ben-Gurion: Sharoot grant 18,000 ILS/yr. Haifa: Higher education access 10,000 ILS/yr.
