Not really a "comparison" โ both are available. Klita basket is the default; the aliyah grant is a special-case supplement.
Sequence
- On arrival: the first payment at the airport (prepaid card), then a top-up to the bank account.
- The next 6 months: 6 monthly payments. The basket must be claimed within a year of receiving oleh status.
- In any special situation (single parent, health, job loss): contact the ministry for the aliyah grant.
Don't miss
The aliyah grant can be requested up to 10 years after aliyah. Many families don't know about it.
